A single medication can carry a different cash price at two pharmacies on the same street, and that price can change without notice as discount programs, manufacturer coupons, and pharmacy contracts get renegotiated. Published figures also tend to describe a cash or list price, which is frequently not what someone with insurance actually pays at the counter. Any pricing reference in this category is a starting point for comparison rather than a quote.
If a figure here does not match what you were charged, that is genuinely useful to know, and the details matter more than usual. Naming the medication, the strength and quantity, the pharmacy, and the price you were quoted lets us work out whether we are looking at a stale figure, a regional difference, or a discount program that applied in your case. Please do not include any personal health information, prescription numbers, or insurance member details in your message — the medication name and the price are all we need, and we would rather you did not send more.
