RxCostCheck ("we," "our," "us") is a website operated by Berean Defense, LLC. We provide free prescription drug price comparison tools. Our website is located at rxcostcheck.org. Contact: contact form or [email protected].
2. What We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect personal health information. Drug searches on RxCostCheck are completely anonymous. We do not log which medications you search for, compare, or calculate. We do not create health profiles. We do not require account registration. We do not collect your name, address, date of birth, insurance information, or any other personally identifiable health data.
3. Information We Do Collect
When you visit RxCostCheck, we or our service providers may automatically collect limited technical data, including:
- IP address (used for geographic analytics and fraud prevention; not linked to health searches)
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Referring URL
- Pages visited and time spent
- Date and time of visit
If you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. This data is transmitted via FormSubmit and stored in our email inbox. We use it only to respond to your inquiry.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. GA4 uses cookies to collect aggregated, anonymized traffic data. No cookie data is linked to personal health information.
GA4 cookies placed on your device:
- _ga — Distinguishes unique users. Expires: 2 years.
- _ga_[ID] — Maintains session state. Expires: 2 years.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We also use Cloudflare for DNS, CDN, and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may set a __cf_bm cookie for bot management. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
5. How We Use Information
We use the limited data we collect to:

We do not share personal health data with any third party because we do not collect it.
7. Affiliate Links
This site may contain links to third-party discount card services (such as GoodRx or RxSaver). If you click an affiliate link, the third-party site may set its own cookies and collect data per its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of linked websites.
We do not pass your drug search history to affiliate partners. Affiliate clicks are tracked only for commission attribution.
8. Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained in our email inbox for up to 2 years, then deleted. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months per our GA4 settings. We do not retain health-related data because we do not collect it.
9. Children's Privacy
RxCostCheck is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us at the address below and we will delete it promptly.
10. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA:

- Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information. No opt-out is needed.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
To exercise these rights, contact us via our contact form. We will respond within 45 days. We do not charge a fee for reasonable requests.
11. Nevada Privacy Rights
Nevada residents may opt out of the "sale" of covered information under NRS Chapter 603A. We do not sell personal information. To submit a verified opt-out request, contact us via our contact form.
12. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data transmitted to and stored by our service providers. Our site is served over HTTPS. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. For significant changes, we may post a notice on the homepage.
